Wolpy

Wolpy is an online application which enables you to leave a permanent record on a map of all the places around the world you have visited.

Beneath a very user-friendly, if quite plain, interface, Wolpy hides a powerful tool that makes it possible to mark on a map the cities you have either visited or hope to visit, leaving a note about each one.

As soon as you open the application, you can mark the destinations of your visits on a Google Map and comment on them, recommend them, describe them and leave a little anecdote to help you remember your stay afterwards.

Wolpy is very simple to use; you need only register and then start to search throughout the map for the places you've been, mark them and, while searching for the ones you have visited, you will find new ones to visit, which you can label as future destinations. It's that easy. Look up who has been to which places, then comment for other users' benefit on the various destinations, exchanging travel information. As well as that, you can add your own photos to the aforementioned destinations and make them available to everyone.

Wolpy also offers the option of inserting the map which illustrates your journey into your blog or own website, by supplying the code to insert in the page where you want it.
